Anti Broke Broke Club

by admin on / LIFESTYLE

The 4th of January 2020, that means a few things. That means it’s been 5 months since I last updated this blog. It’s means it’s my birthday today and last but not least, it means I’m dropping these hoodies in the Kevve-Inc webshop!

Anti Broke Broke Club? Yes, you’re reading that right! Nobody likes it to being broke, this hoodie is my motivation to people to quit being broke and to make some proper money. I’m not the best guy to give financial advise to people but one thing I can tell you is that I’ve been broke around 2008. This due bad business decisions and influence by people who you thought they were friends but actually wanted all your money and just gave you the extra push in the grave. Being young at that time and taking advise from people who owned a big company and driving supercars weren’t the best decision I took in my life! Ha!

Being 4 days in 2020 now I can say I’m anti broke now. (See what I did there?) I want to motivate people to get out there and push the grind, do the work and keep doing the work that’s needed to make those dineros. One thing I’ve learned over the years is that when you do the work and do the hustle day after day you eventually can overcome everything. Even a downfall to €80K in minus, an almost failure of your company and selling all the fun stuff to survive. With these Anti Broke Broke Club hoodies (which come in 2 colors) I want to start the movement, the movement of being anti broke and just enjoying life to the fullest!

The Italy Road Trip!

Ok, first things first! I really wanted to do a roadtrip over Italy for such a long time now. Instagram sparked this idea with all the photos on the Gram with their amazing views and little villages.

First stop in Italy was the Como Lake in a pretty much perfect hotel with a pretty much perfect view! We arrived in the late afternoon which was just in time for Cocktail’o-clock and pizza time. Next morning – Couldn’t think of a better view to wake up to and have breakfast at and catch some sun next to the pool!

I mean, view’s on point, right?

Next stop was Milan city… Didn’t had much good to say about Milan to be honest. It was way too hot as in 36 degrees all day and packed with people. At least the Domo was beautiful and they had a good amount of quality stores in the mall.

Early morning after we went out to our next stop which was the Garda Lake, only 200km’s away from Milan. This was our view from the hotel which was pretty ok!

A heat wave in Italy at the Garda Lake, no better way to chill as a pool with a view, right?!

Picture perfect on so many ways at the Garda Lake!

I said it before and will say it again, view’s on point at Garda. Ok and that babe does it well too!

Cruising around the Lake in the M4 was just amazing. Loads of overview points which took our breath away. That’s what these roadtrips are all about!

Next stop was Portofino, jup the place from all the Instagram photos! We just had to stop there to see what all the fuzz was about and it’s true, it just looks amazing on photo and in real life.

We had a little snack at the little port, this was probably the most expensive salad with tomato ever but the view and experience was all worth it.

This photo deliverd me loads of stress! That day was pretty windy at Portofino and the place I had to take off from was crowded with people and packed with overhanging trees. Not the most ideal circumstances to launch your drone. As you guys are seeing this photo, it means all went well! Ps: that black boat is owned by Armani.

Next Stop, Monaco on the way home for a day of 3 to just chill and relax and catch up at some work! I just adore that place! Some people will hate it because of all the rich people who live there but most of those people will probably never have visited the country before. The atmospehere in that country is just out of this world. It motivates and calmes me down so much at the same time. A good place to be!

And of course, cocktails!

Time to head home after a fun week with my favourite co-pilot on the whole world!

In case you missed out on the 2-part vlog of the roadtrip, here it is:

A day in the bay? What does that mean? A day in the detailing bay at Meguiar’s Belgium, a full day of spa welness for a car. Does that sounds a bit more familiar? When I arrived the car wasn’t really dirty as it’s been sunny and dry for over the last month in Belgium. It only had some minor dust on it so we didn’t need to go for the heavy wash. Although we started with the wheels, as you would start every wash of your car.

Let us be clear, this whole blogpost is not an ad, as you guys know I just love to support great brands and the people behind it. I do know Sven (owner of Meguiar’s Belgium) for over 13 years now and we’ve done many great things together. We both come a long way and the Meguiar’s products are just amazing. This is the brand that I’ve been using forever on all my cars, if something is great, there’s no need to change it. We started with this Ultimate Wheel Cleaner, just spray it on and let the product do his work. The products starts working and brake dust is coming off, you’ll see the product becoming purple.

With the Meguiar’s wheelbrush, it’s easy to clean the whole wheel behind the spokes!

Time to rinse!

Once the wheels are rinsed with the jetwash, it’s time to snow foam the car! As you guys know I really like snow foaming cars, it makes cleaning so much easier and safer when it comes to swirls and scratches!

And yes, it’s just so instafriendly when your car is fully foamed and white!

This Meguiar’s Ultimate Snow Foam is just released and I’m really loving it! In the past I used the yellow Ultimate wash & wax shampoo with hot water. It wasn’t really cost effective but it sure did the job – haha!

After snowfoaming it, it’s time to wash the car. By using the bucket with gritt guard and the Meguiar’s wash mitt, you eliminate the chance of swirls pretty much.

And this folks is why I’m here, the famous swirls and scratches which every car has…

On photo they seem rather small but the in real life they are a pain in my eye!

This is the product range that will make any paint into showroom condition again.  You start of with the compound, polish and finish with a layer of wax. As my paint wasn’t matte or dull by age, we had enough with only the compound and wax.

This Correction Compound does the magic!

As I already completed the full course of “professional” detailer a few years ago Sven refreshed my memory on how to work with the Dual Action Polisher and how safe it is to use.

With the correct products and know-how you really can’t do anything wrong. Some people still think you can polish through the paint or clear coat but not with the Meguiar’s Dual Action. It’s actually fun to do and it’s even more fun when you see the difference when you finished a panel.

After polishing the whole car (about 6 hours later with 2 people) it’s time put on the wax. We applied it with the Dual Action too! Waxed a whole car in just 15 minutes!

And finished the small corners with a manual application pad.

Time to let the wax cure and have a little BBQ – Jummy!

Once the wax is been taken off and the car is been detailed a last time with a ‘Last Touch’ spray, you can really see the difference of what a full day of work did (with 2 people that is). No more swirls, no more scratches and a deep gloss and amazing metallic.

It’s almost scary to drive the car now as it’s so perfect now! Be sure to check out my latest vlog to see some video of the whole process. If you like to have your own day at the Meguiar’s Belgium bay, it’s possible! Get in touch with the Meguiar’s Belgium guys and have fun!

Dubai 2019

As summer holidays were just so far away we decided to go on a little trip to Dubai with the 4 of us. That’s me, Margaux, Kevin & Elien. Departing from Brussels airport to Dubai International with a direct flight of 6h30 with Emirates, perfect as it is!

Arriving to our hotel and seeing this view, our trip couldn’t start any better to be honest! It’s better to spend a bit more on a good room/hotel as otherwise you’re stuck with a boring grey concrete building view when you’re on the balcony of your hotel – nobody likes that, right?

And as it was 36 degrees during the evening/night, we couldn’t wait to jump in our pool at the hotel!

As the G63 AMG is Margaux her favourite car, we decided to rent this boxy brick to tour around Dubai and get some cool shots with it. To be honest I was suprised by the power of this square shaped metal box with a V8 engine in it! Makes me want one even more here in Belgium!

Views in Dubai never disappoint and putting up the drone didn’t either! The skyline of this metropolis city of Dubai is just on another level, I’ve been to many places but Las Vegas doesn’t even comes close. I just love this place and his atmosphere, the luxury and new buildings motivate me a lot.

Quick desert trip with the G63 and these guys! We almost felt how it was to be walking on Mars! I guess it has the same sand texture and temperatures – haha! 44 Degrees in the desert was kinda hot but the pictures turned out amazing!

Of course we couldn’t miss out on doing some ByMargaux photos! Ps: Go check out here latest pieces in the collection!

Of course we did some pictures for my Kevve-Inc collection too! Got some exciting news coming soon on that by the way!

The G was so sick to drive in Dubai, it’s really G-wagon heaven! In our private garage at the hotel were I think 20 G-wagons, I kid you not! When you drive around the city you spot G-wagons everywhere you look, it’s just crazy! As it was ramadam when we were in Dubai, there weren’t too many supercars around as during the ramadam they aren’t allowed to showcase their rich lifestyle and should stay sober.

Always wanted to go up on the top of the Burj Khalifa and this is what the view is from the 126th level. Pretty insane is an understatement! Next time we’re doing this by day!

I’m so happy I could show my princess this amazing city and we’re already planning the next trip to Dubai & Abu D’habi, the countdown has started but first the Italy roadtrip up next!

Made this pretty long vlog for you guys too, it gives you a better insight in the whole Dubai happening! Enjoy!
