Ok, by this time you’ve seen many of these images from your friends who went skiing or snowboarding! I wanted to go skiing in winter for ages (like really, ages!) and this year I just did it. I love the wintercold in a paradise like this, loads of snow, loads of sun and the perfect setting, what’s not to like? France, here we come!

An amazing hotel with an even more amazing staff makes the short trip so worth it. Exiting the hotel and being directly on the ski slope was just amazing, the feeling of clicking on your skis and just slide your way down to the elevator was great! Imagine dragging your gear out of the hotel first and then to hit a bus for 30 minutes to the skislopes and when you’re all done and tired to the bone waiting for a bus and a bus ride back to the hotel… I was pretty happy with this!

I mean… I’ve been in many hotelrooms lately but these ones are in my top 5 for sure! Ok, the food buffet and restaurant was amazing too! Food is life!

I love dimensions so I was pretty excited to fly my drone here! Bit scary tho as it was -15 degrees when I flew it out there to get these shots, not sure how those drones handle cold air but it survived so we’re all good. If it would have crashed, I would have started a national search and rescue action – haha!

The funny thing was I had to launch the drone from the room (which had no outdoor area) so this was a bit tricky!

Not sure if I flew my drone so high I arrived at Mars or… This just looks so amazing! Seeing these images makes me want to go back!

I went skiing for so many times on an indoor track but this means nothing with this fresh snow and this view! Sign me up every year please!

And as you guys know how I love my sunsets… these were just on another level!

I went for the ski while Margaux went for the snowboard! I was so suprised by how well this lady could handle the board! She always had to wait for me as I was so slow – ha! I love it when somebody pushes me to go harder, that’s how you get better and improve yourself!

I’ll be honest with you guys! The first day I almost broke every bone in my body by falling over a hundred times! As I always used to ski indoor, the fresh snow and feeling was so different and I wasn’t used to this. I adjusted my technique the following days and I never felt again (ok, maybe 1 more time (really)).

This is what heaven looks like when you love skiing! Can’t we just go back please!?

The most important thing after skiing is obviously the ‘apres-ski’! (read: booze) Fresh mojito’s all day long!

The mojito’s were amazing but the food and desserts were even more amazing! I don’t think I ever ate so much! (Ok maybe in Las Vegas at the buffets)

And to work off all the food and drinks, we went swimming in the pool with the sickest view I ever had from a pool! It doesn’t get any better then this – feeling lucky!

And we finished with a proper gym session (I didn’t had any photos of me working out so I guess you won’t mind if I use one of this lady) to stay in shape and get some more energy. And this was the perfect way to get my Red Bull ice cold, just how I like them!

I literally can’t wait to go back! One of the best trips I’ve done and I finally went skiing!

EMS 2018

by admin on / BLOG, CARS, TRAVEL

EMS, The Essen Motorshow in Germany, after Sema Show in Las Vegas the biggest car show when it comes to aftermarket pieces and tuning. Tuning in the good way that is. Michiel joined me on the trip yesterday which was pretty fun as it’s always lots of fun with him around.

I’m not going to post too much cars from the show as I’m working on a big show coverage feature on my channel. This will be published soon, go check out the cars over there if you like!

And then I stumbled up this guy, the one and only Puc Polish – haha! Good to see Stefan back again as we go back, way back as in 10 years I guess? He’s one of the best when it comes to polishing wheels and making your wheels on your car looking like never before. From starting to refurbish wheels in a small hangar to building a little empire with fame all over the world. Keep doing what you’re doing Stefan!

Hamburgers anyone? (Yes there are hamburgers in this photo)

We didn’t decided to go for the hamburgers as they looked way too funny and too weird. We went for the classic Currywörst – a must-eat when in Germany!

These new Porsche Grand GT Turismo’s are growing on me, I’m nog the biggest Porsche fanatic but they can drop off this Tech Art on my driveway. Please.

These were also 2 of my favourites (yes another Porsche). The RUF Porsche SCR, a fully new rebuilt Porsche with the looks of a 1978 body with the newest technology and 510hp on board. The massive white G63 AMG Brabus is just such a beast, I can imagine seeing myself rocking this one with Bentley on the backseat! Where do I sign?

In the basement, the tuning hall, I encountered this amazing red E30M3 with the most perfect paint and sick BBS wheels. Love on first sight! I would never paint an E30 in red myself but this thing was so mint… no words! More pictures coming up soon on the Automotive Tuner channel!

Long days as these require a lot of the golden stuff! Thanks Red Bull for keeping us going!

And yes, A Rolls! The only one on the show, pushed somewhere in a corner far away but I found it! Loved the telesto grey outdoor color and the orange/brown interior look! Rocking it! Thanks EMS, see you next year!

*Starts playing: The Candy Shop – 50 Cent* It’s not often you find a car rental shop which rents out all of your dreamcars! Going from a Lamborghini Huracan to a Rolls Royce Wraith to plenty of other rides!

This massive Rolls Royce Ghost is one of the sickest cars for me on the parking lot. Just the way this beast looks is amazing, it stands for luxury and the finer things in life – much like!

And then there was this Aventador SV, on a totally other level as all the other cars here. Coming in matte black with a big load of carbon fiber makes this also high on my ‘want’ list! They can drop it off like this please!

And of course LA wouldn’t be LA if there weren’t any G-wagons to rent! If you have a weakness for G-wagons like Margaux, you’re at the right place! I’ll go for the bright green yellow-ish one! Totally bad*ss!

And why not throw a regular Range Rover in there? Cause that’s sooo Beverly Hills, that’s why!

If all the above rides were not enough or good enough, you can always choose this Maybach, Baller status activated!

And yes, this Defender… you know how I think about Defenders… if not, scroll down a bit on this blog!

This Huracan reminds me of my rental car in Dubai, maybe I should rent a car at Platinum Motorsport next time I’m over in LA!

As promised in a previous post, the RDBLA visit. We all got our favourite YouTube or Instagram channels, right? One of my favs is RDBLA, it’s one of the shops who create the sickets car builds out there! No half work, no kid stance but proper work and a perfect stance as it should be. They inspired me so much when it comes to modifying cars and work ethic.

If you were wondering where “RDBLA” stands for: Repair, Design, Build, Los Angeles. The name says it all!

My 7 series has probably the most RDB feeling over it as you can see, all black and slammed to the floor.

When we visited the shop, the guys were eating in the back as it was mid-day but they were so kind to come out and take a picture with us. I can imagine it gets bored going on picture every time some fans come over and getting out for a photo so I really appreciate it!

And for those who say their shop is not the cleanest, you’re totally right and that’s probably why they get so much work done and keep building cars. Did U ever built a project car or ripped a car in parts in just a few days and got it back together only a few days after? If not, you’ll probably never going to understand the “mess” in the workshop.

I bought another RDBLA T-shirt and we got going, thanks for having us and keep doing what you do Vic & Mano! Ps: have mercy with Moses!

Go and give them a follow on Youtube (they’re almost at 200.000 subs) & Instagram!

Back in Belgium and back to work! While I was cleaning up my portable hard disk with all the images from the Las Vegas and LA trip, I encountered these photos, too good not to share – right? When you’re out with 6 people on a trip and doing a show report of Sema Show and shooting from everybody’s Instagram/blog, you’ll end up with shooting so much that you just forgot about some pictures.

I would be a fool not to grab some pictures of the Deckorate decks in Vegas!

Just a random jackpot in the Palazzo hotel! Win a Bmw 750i!

Beautiful scenery at the Mirago hotel! Those colors made me do it!

It was a white shoe day! We didn’t care!

Sunset in the Las Vegas desert, it doesn’t got much better then this folks, I can tell you that!

Hotels, hotels, hotels and some more hotels, here’s the MGM Grand!

An empty car parking, I took a picture of it, here it is.

Friday night after the Sema Show is always cool, you’ll see much show cars at the strip. This was one of them, sickest police car imitation you’ll ever see! High Mad Max feeling!

The Strip is always full of traffic and red lights, you think it would get bored after a week but I didn’t care, just enjoy the scenery!

Santa Monica pier! An amusement park on the beach, in the sea, because they can!

Fairfax Avenue, the place to be when you’re a hypebeast (which I’m not).

Supreme and palmtrees, works well together!

Overview at Griffith Park – Los Angeles, I like that!
